Temperature records for this time of year were broken in 11 Saskatchewan communities yesterday.
Places that haven’t seen that kind of November heat in while include Buffalo Narrows, Hudson Bay, Key Lake, La Ronge, Meadow Lake, Melfort, Nipawin and Wynyard.
For example, in Nipawin, yesterday reached a high of 15.7 degrees, breaking the previous record of 11.7 degrees set in 1929.
Yesterday, the hotspot in Saskatchewan was Leader at 17.4 degrees. The cold spot was Key Lake at just -11 degrees Celsius.
