The 2024 Everest Canadian Curling Club Championships start today and run through Sunday, November 24th in Barrie, Ontario. There are 14 women’s teams and 14 men’s teams taking part from all provinces and territories, including Saskatchewan. The teams in each gender division are split into two pools of seven teams each for preliminary round-robin play. That is followed by the top eight teams advancing to the modified double knock-out playoffs. Saskatchewan is represented by the Samantha Yachiw foursome from the Saskatoon-Sutherland club on the women’s side and by the Aaron Shutra quartet from the Saskatoon-Nutana club on the men’s side.
