A 61-year-old man from Millet, Alberta has died following a collision between an SUV and a semi near Landis, Saskatchewan.

On Thursday just after 2:35 p.m., Unity RCMP, as well as local fire and EMS responded to the scene.

The driver and only person inside the SUV was declared deceased by EMS at the scene.

The driver of the semi reported no injuries but was taken to hospital for further assessment.

RCMP officers and a collision reconstructionist continue to investigate.
