The Government of Saskatchewan says its Crown oil and natural gas public offering, held just this past Tuesday raised $11,392,502.38 for the province. That is a considerable increase from the same time last year when just over 9-hundred thousand dollars was raised.
The Estevan area generating most of the revenue bringing in $8,088,540.01 for 29 leases totalling just over 3,400 hectares.
Bidding in the Kindersley area reached a total of $2.45 million for six leases and four exploration licenses totalling more than 76 hundred hectares.
The next offering is scheduled for February 4, 2025.
