Freezing rain may last up to six hours, with wind gusts of 50 to 60 km/h.
The storm is expected to bring heavy snowfall rates of up to 2 cm per hour, and conditions will worsen overnight as precipitation changes to widespread snow.
Roads, highways, and walkways will become icy and hazardous, potentially causing transportation delays.
