A Saskatoon Police officer can now add helping deliver a baby to his experience list. The Police Service says around 8:15 last night (Mon), a Police Sergeant was on patrol when he responded to a call for assistance at 25th Street and 3rd Avenue.
The caller reported his wife was in labour inside a vehicle and he didn’t believe they would reach a hospital in time for the delivery. The officer coached the woman through the final push and the baby was born. The new mother and her newborn are now safe in hospital
