A new fund has been created by the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation in an effort to help bridge expensive gaps for families utilizing the Neonatal and Pediatric Intensive Care Units.

The Dr. G NICU/PICU Comfort Fund was named after the Foundation’s Board Chair, Dr. Laurentiu Givelichian, after he and his family provided a generous donation.

The fund is designed to assist families with unexpected financial challenges that pop up during their child’s hospital stay. These could include travel expenses, accommodation expenses, or other essential needs.

The Dr. G NICU/PICU Comfort Fund will be available immediately to eligible families.
