Arbitration proceedings have begun between the Teachers’ Bargaining Committee and the Government-Trustee Bargaining Committee, and will continue through the week in Saskatoon. According to a news release from the Saskatchewan Teachers’ Federation, both sides will submit written positions and make presentations on the two issues: wages and class complexity-accountability framework, then the arbitrator’s decision will be written in a lengthy report, and any decisions from that will become part of the Provincial Collective Bargaining Agreement.
