A total of 49 people were arrested and 114 warrants were executed in November as the Prince Albert Police Service Proactive Policing Unit (PPU) completed a project focused on warrant enforcement in P-A.
The PPU worked with a Criminal Analyst and attended to multiple residences in the city in an effort to locate and apprehend offenders with outstanding warrants. The warrants included, but were not limited to, such offences as breaching court-ordered conditions, assault, break and enter, sexual assault, theft under five thousand dollars and possession of a weapon. During November, one stolen vehicle was recovered plus 17 new charges were laid.
