Twenty-nine-year old Glen Frederick Richard Halkett was not accounted for during a 9:30pm count on Tuesday evening.

A warrant has been issued for Halkett’s arrest. He is five foot eight, 168 pounds and has a fair complexion, brown eyes and black hair. Halkett also has a tattoo on his neck and under his lef eye.

The inmate is currently serving a sentence of 2-years, 9-months and three days for break and enter with intent, motor vehicle theft, flight from a police officer, obstructing a police officer and possession of a weapon contrary to prohibition order.

Anyone who has information on the whereabouts of Glen Fredrick Richard Halkett is asked to contact the police.

The Canadian Correctional Service will investigate the circumstances of this incident and is working with the police to locate the offender as quickly as possible.
