Maidstone RCMP are on the lookout for a missing woman who may have been the victim of an assault.

At 1:23 a.m. this morning, RCMP received a report of a missing woman, 31-year-old Ashley Desjarlais of Meadow Lake.

She was last seen at a residence just north of Lloydminster at 1:16 a.m. The person who made the call indicated Ashley may have been the victim of an assault, and she may have been with a man.

Officers say they may be driving in a dark large-sized SUV, possibly a Dodge Durango.

Ashley is described as 4 feet 11 inches tall, 145 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She has a large tattoo on her throat.
