A teenage boy from Deschambault Lake has been charged with one count of causing death to an animal following an RCMP investigation on Thursday.

On January 9, officers received a report of a male teen seriously injuring a dog in the community.

Officers located the dog dead that day.

RCMP is unable to provide more information about this incident as it may identify the youth involved.
