An arrest was made after a man tried to steal a vehicle with a woman inside on the University of Saskatchewan campus.

Around one o’clock Monday afternoon, a man attempted to remove a woman from her car in the 100 block of Wiggins Road. He was unsuccessful and fled before police arrived. The woman was not hurt.

A suspect was arrested around 10 o’clock on Tuesday morning by Campus Security. He became combative during the arrest and a security guard was assaulted.

Police responded and arrested a 36-year-old man.
