Potash producing giant Mosiac has announced that it will help fund the construction of a new Recovery & Wellness Centre on Ochapowace Nation.
The commitment comes in the form of $500,000 over two years.
Ochapowace Nation Chief Shelley A. Bear says the project is a sign of hope, as “The opioid crisis is one of the toughest challenges we’ve faced. It is a pandemic that is not only impacting youth, but people of all ages.”
The total cost of the centre is expected to be $6 million.
