Prince Albert product Stryker Zablocki is the Sask Sport January Athlete-of-the-Month.
Zablocki led the entire I-I-H-F Under-18 Women’s World Championship last month in Finland in goals scored, with eight, and points accumulated, with 12, helping Canada to win the event. Zablocki, who scored a goal in the gold medal-winning 3-0 decision over the U-S, was also named a tournament all-star. Besides Zablocki, forward Alida Korte and goaltender Ava Drabyk – both of Saskatoon – were members of the team. Following is the news release from Sask Sport…..

ATHLETE OF THE MONTH Zablocki strikes gold to earn Athlete of the Month honours After being handed an all-star award for her part in Canada claiming gold at the 2025 IIHF U18 Women’s World Championship, forward Stryker Zablocki earns January Athlete of the Month honours. The Prince Albert product scored the most goals (eight) and points (12) at the tournament, capping off her total with a goal in Canada’s 3-0 shutout victory against the United States for the Championship’s final game in Vantaa, Finland. Zablocki was joined by fellow Saskatchewan-born players, forward Alida Korte (Saskatoon) and goalie Ava Drabyk (Saskatoon). Zablocki was nominated by Hockey Saskatchewan.
