Watch out for cyclists on your morning commute, because today is Saskatoon’s annual Bike to Work Day.
Those who choose to bike this morning between 7 and 9 a.m. will be rewarded with free breakfast, coffee and treats from seven commuter stations spread throughout the city. There is a list of them with this story online.
The event comes in the midst of BYXE Week, Saskatoon’s way of encouraging residents to stay active and environmentally friendly, despite the cold weather.
There is also a week-long scavenger hunt and social media contest, as well as a one-hour group slow roll around Saskatoon on Saturday at 2 p.m. Click here for more information on BYXE Week.
