P.A. Police are investigating a bear spray incident from yesterday afternoon. Just after noon, officers were called to a business in the 2800 block of 6th Avenue East.

Officers arrived to find a cab driver suffering from the effects of bear spray. They learned that the victim picked up the unknown male suspect in the 500 block of 27th Street East, and the man allegedly threatened him with bear spray for a free ride.

The cab driver took the suspect to a business in the 2800 block of 6th Avenue East and upon arrival, the suspect got out of the cab and sprayed the driver.

The investigation continues and any one with relevant information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
