Two men were arrested in Saskatoon after police conducted a weapons investigation in the 2300 block of 33rd Street West.
Yesterday, at 10:30 a.m., officers were called to a report of an assault and a person in possession of a firearm.
When they arrived, two men were seen leaving a home. Police determined that one of them was concealing a loaded sawed-off rifle, knife, and a homemade conducted energy weapon. The other man was also in possession of homemade CEW.
A subsequent search warrant at the home found pellet gun, rifle ammunition, and the 35-year-old female victim of the assault. She was not seriously injured.
Now, both the 37- and 44-year-old men are facing numerous charges.
