A 39-year-old woman died suddenly in Prince Albert Thursday, prompting the city’s police service to investigate.

At 6:30 a.m., while patrolling the downtown, officers found the woman unconscious and not breathing. Parkland Ambulance attended and EMS pronounced the woman dead at the scene.

The death is not believed to be suspicious, and the Saskatchewan Coroner’s Service has ordered an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
