The Prince Albert Police Service says their officers responded to a weapons call at a business in the 800 block of 5th Street East on Saturday night.

The victim wasn’t physically harmed when police arrived, but officers learned that a woman got into the passenger seat of a vehicle and demanded money. The suspect was asked to leave but allegedly brandished multiple knifes.

Witnesses intervened and a short physical altercation took place before the suspect fled on foot.

A suspect was rounded up shortly after in the area and a 46-year-old woman has now been charged with attempted robbery, assault with a weapon and breach of undertaking.
