A man Regina Police had warned the public was at high risk to re-offend sexually, is now unlawfully at large.
Regina police are issuing a public safety alert for Jason Paul Thorn.
Forty-eight-year-old Thorn has been living with court-ordered conditions in the Heritage neighbourhood of Regina since his legislated, statutory release on March 31st. He has been living in a residence that provides supervision and monitoring of his activities.
Police say the latest attempt to contact Thorn has been unsuccessful and, as a result, he is considered unlawfully at large, and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.
Jason Paul Thorn has a criminal history which includes sexual offences, and he has a history of reoffending. He poses a high risk for sexual offences against female children.
He is described as 48 years old, 5′ 9″ tall, weighing approximately 170 pounds, medium build, with brown eyes and greying black hair
