The Saskatoon Police Service says a woman suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries after being assaulted at an apartment building in the 1900 block of 22nd Street West.

She was transported to hospital by Medavie Health Services and police say video evidence indicates a group of two men and two women assaulted and robbed the victim of her property.

In a news release, police say they haven’t determined as yet whether the suspects and victim knew each other.

One of the suspects, a 42-year-old man, was identified by police and already found to be in Saskatoon Police Service Detention on unrelated charges. While he has now been charged with aggravated assault and robbery, members of the Serious Assault Unit continue to investigate.
