SaskTel is investing nearly $470 million of capital in bolstering access to high-speed internet across the province.

Over $111 million of the total is allocated to additional 5G deployment.

Another $90 million is being invested in a rural expansion of the infiNET network, $77 million towards strengthening core networks, $102 million for improving customer service and operations, and an additional $83 million for developing SaskTel’s new Aurora program, which aims to dramatically improve connectivity in Saskatchewan’s far north.
