As of Monday, the bus stops on Broadway Avenue, between 12th and 8th Streets, will be closed and temporarily relocated to Victoria Avenue. With the move comes new short-term signage. The four temporary stops on Victoria will also have parking restrictions as necessary for a bus stop placement.
All closed bus stops will have signage directing riders to nearby stops for eastbound or westbound travel. Saskatoon Transit routes to and from downtown will use Victoria Avenue and the Traffic Bridge.
Also, the four temporary stops on Victoria Avenue will have parking restrictions limited to the areas necessary for bus stop placement. The Broadway Bridge rehabilitation project is expected to last about six months and will coincide with the start of construction of four new Link station platforms on Broadway Avenue as part of the upcoming rapid transit system.
