The Saskatchewan Roughriders’ 2025 C-F-L season is into the main training camp phase, continuing today and running through Thursday, May 22nd at Griffiths Stadium on the University of Saskatchewan campus in Saskatoon. Today’s session started at 8:30 a.m. The Green and White will play their first pre-season game on Saturday, May 24th at 2 p.m. in Winnipeg before the Blue Bombers visit the Riders on Friday, May 30th at 7 p.m. at Mosaic Stadium in Regina. Saskatchewan’s regular-season opener will be on Thursday, June 5th against the Ottawa RedBlacks. Game time is 7 p.m. at Mosaic Stadium in Regina.

A total of 10 Junior A league champions from across Canada are taking part, split into two groups of preliminary round-robin play, plus playoffs. Included in the field is the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League-champion Melfort Mustangs. Melfort has 1 win, 1 loss for 3 points…good for 3rd place in Group B.
