The Saskatchewan Roughriders’ 2025 C-F-L season continues today with main training camp, running through Thursday at Griffiths Stadium on the University of Saskatchewan campus in Saskatoon. Today’s session started at 8:30 a.m. The Green and White will play their first pre-season game on Saturday, May 24th at 2 p.m. in Winnipeg before the Blue Bombers visit the Riders on Friday, May 30th at 7 p.m. at Mosaic Stadium in Regina. Saskatchewan’s regular-season opener will be on Thursday, June 5th against the Ottawa RedBlacks. Game time is 7 p.m. at Mosaic Stadium in Regina.

The Centennial Cup, National Junior A Hockey Championship tournament, continues today and runs through Sunday in Calgary. The field of 10 Junior A league champions from across Canada has been reduced to six teams for straight knock-out playoffs. Among the six teams still alive is the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League-champion Melfort Mustangs. Melfort finished the preliminary round-robin with 2 wins, 1 overtime win, 1 loss for 8 points…good for 2nd place in Group B. On today’s quarter-final schedule…
