The crashed car campaign has returned for the summer in Saskatoon with Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD), and will have a damaged vehicle on display at several locations throughout the city.
The smashed-up vehicle is designed to grab a person’s attention as they drive by.
Bonny Stevenson, president of MADD Saskatoon says the visual sends a powerful reminder of the dangers of impaired driving.
The six locations in Saskatoon will have the vehicle displayed between June 5th and September 7th:
-June 5th to 25th at the Alice Turner Library,
-June 26th to July 16th at 51st Street and Warman Road, and
-July 17th to August 6th at Diefenbaker Drive and 22nd Street
