Wawanesa Insurance has deployed its Mobile Response Unit (MRU) to the evacuee reception centre in Prince Albert to support its members affected by wildfires in northern Saskatchewan,
The MRU will be set up at the Prince Albert Exhibition Centre starting Saturday, June 7th providing personalized support to members by helping them open claims, answering questions, and distributing care kits. The MRU will remain in place as long as needed, operating daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Wawanesa’s MRU, which operates across Canada, serves as a fully equipped mobile office during a crisis. This marks the first time the MRU has been deployed to Saskatchewan.
At the same time, Wawanesa is rallying around the broader community with a $5,000 donation to the United Way Saskatoon and Area, which will use the funds to provide recreational activities for evacuees.
