Describing it as another failure by the Sask Party to focus on the future of the province, the N-D-P are expressing their disapproval with the government not having any of its members attend a federal-provincial meeting last month, focusing on developing the Francophone economy.
N-D-P Shadow Minister for Francophone Affairs, Jacqueline Roy, says the Sask Party was, “missing in action,” during the Ministers’ Council on the Canadian Francophonie’s (MCCF) annual meeting in Yellowknife on June 26-27. Roy adds the meeting was an opportunity for the government to help out the provincial economy through jobs and investment through use of the Francophone language.
