The Saskatoon Fire Department responded to a kitchen fire just after 9:30 Tuesday morning.
As they arrived at the home in the 300 block of Kalra Street, crews saw that the occupants of the building had evacuated.
Firefighters encountered light smoke at the front door, and as they entered the home, they observed a small fire on kitchen cook top.
The fire was extinguished and crews confirmed there was no fire spread in the kitchen. One occupant received treatment by fire crews for minor injuries.
A fire investigator is now on scene to identify the cause, origin and damage estimate.
