The Women’s, with seven teams taking part, at Bob Van Impe Stadium and the Glenn Reeve-3 diamond in Saskatoon. The teams will play a round-robin plus playoffs format. Among the seven competing teams are the defending champion Carnduff Southeast Steelers, the host Saskatoon Stealth as well as the Saskatoon Prairie Pirates and the Saskatoon Tigers. Action starts today at 10 a.m. with the last game beginning at 8:30 p.m. Every game features at least one Saskatchewan team, with the exception of the 8:30 contest.

The teams are split into four pools of six teams each for preliminary round-robin play, followed by playoffs. Among the 24 teams taking part are the host Twin City Angels, Moose Jaw ICE, White Butte Storm and Battlefords Bandits from Saskatchewan. The four Saskatchewan teams are in different preliminary pools. Action today starts at 8 a.m. with the last games beginning at 7 p.m.

The Saskatchewan Rattlers are off until Friday when they visit the Winnipeg Sea Bears at 6:30 p.m. Saskatchewan has 5 wins, 14 losses…good for 5th place in the Western Conference.
