The Saskatchewan RCMP say the increased police presence in Yorkton back on Monday afternoon resulted in an arrest. According to a news release, the Yorkton detachment received a report at about 1:20 p.m. on July 28th that there was a man with a firearm in a residence on Madge Way in Yorkton. The RCMP received no reports of injuries, but officers were dispatched to the scene, located and arrested the male at the residence. No charges have yet been laid, and Yorkton RCMP are continuing to investigate.
