A 34-year-old woman and a 56-year-old man are in hospital with serious injuries after a hit and run occurred last night and The Prince Albert Police are requesting help to locate the vehicle and driver involved.
Around 10:13 p.m. on August 1, 2025, a Prince Albert Police Service member witnessed the collision between the vehicle and the two pedestrians in the 1400 block of 2nd Avenue West. The officer remained with the victims while awaiting paramedics.
The vehicle, a smaller, dark-coloured SUV fled the scene and efforts to locate it have been unsuccessful. A Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist attended the scene and the Prince Albert Police Service Major Crimes Unit continues to investigate. Anyone with information regarding this Hit and Run is asked to contact the Prince Albert Police Service or Crime Stoppers.
