Moose Jaw RCMP are looking for duo believed responsible for selling fraudulent antivirus subscriptions, one of which goes by the name Sam.
Back on June 10 at 9:50 p.m., Moose Jaw RCMP received a report from Caronport where a victim purchased a fraudulent antivirus subscription on their computer. Shortly after, a man who claimed to be an employee from a popular antivirus company contacted the victim and demanded a large sum of money.
The victim was instructed to deliver the money, in person, to another man in Caronport who went by the name ‘Sam’. He also claimed to be an employee from the same antivirus company.
Scammer Sam is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall with a medium build.
