A 28-year-old man has been arrested following a shooting in downtown Prince Albert.
At 12:20 p.m. on Tuesday, police were called to the 400 block of 13th Street East for a reported weapons complaint. Officers learned that a shooting occurred and the suspect ran from the scene.
Officers arrived to find a 48-year-old man a gunshot wound. He was taken to hospital by Parkland Ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries.
Not long after, officers located the suspect in the 100 block of 14th Street East where he was arrested without further incident.
A search of the suspect produced multiple rounds of ammunition and an improvised firearm.
