An apartment fire was called in shortly after 3:30 a.m. this morning in the 400 block of Fairmont Drive.

Firefighters could see heavy smoke and flames coming from a suite in the apartment complex when they arrived.

Fire crews fought the fire from both the exterior and interior of the building. All occupants safely evacuated, and the fire has been completely extinguished.

No one was injured. A fire investigator is determining the cause, origin and damage estimate.
