Moose Jaw Police have charged a 63-year-old man with fraud-related charges following a lengthy investigation.
Timothy Hollinger was in court yesterday (Tuesday) and remanded in custody until his next appearance on Friday.
The charges were laid following a search of a residence last Friday. During the investigation, Moose Jaw Police found evidence that victims were encouraged to send money via e-transfers or wire transfer as part of an online loan application through fraudulent websites.
Hollinger is charged with one count each of Fraud Over $5,000, Fraud Under $5,000 and Money Laundering.
Moose Jaw Police are investigating to determine if there are additional victims.
