Pierceland RCMP are searching for a 31-year-old woman in connection to a serious assault on Big Island Lake Cree Nation.

Officers were called to the Cree nation on August 31 at 9:30 p.m.,

Investigation determined that a female assaulted a male victim, who was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

RCMP are now searching for Ramona Ochuschayoo of Big Island Lake Cree Nation. She is facing five charges, and a warrant has been issued for her arrest.

She is described as five fete four inches tall, 180 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.
