A man has been charged following a fatal collision involving an ATV last Saturday evening on a road near the mall on the Pelican Lake First Nation.

The 26-year-old driver of the ATV was killed. The driver of the vehicle left the scene on foot.

Spiritwood RCMP say 33-year-old Richard Bear from Pelican Lake First Nation has been charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death and failing to stop after an accident resulting in death.  He was arrested on Tuesday and made his first court appearance in North Battleford on Wednesday.
