The University of Saskatchewan Huskies won their second game in a row earlier this afternoon with a convincing 45-22 win over the Calgary Dinos. Quarterback Anton Amundrud had his best performance of the season, and career throwing for 429 yards and 5 touchdowns. Amundrud moves into fifth all-time in touchdown passes with the Huskies program while Ryker Frank had another solid performance totaling 214 yards in total offence. Daniel Wiebe had his first three touchdown performance to grab sole possession of first in the Canada West Football Conference.
The Dogs will travel back to Saskatoon and prepare for a Week 1 rematch against the Alberta Golden Bears, this time at Griffiths Stadium on Saturday, October 4th with kickoff at 7 p.m.
