A 29-year-old Unity man has been arrested and charged with the theft of multiple vehicles.
On Wednesday at 9:25 a.m., Unity RCMP received a report of suspicious activity in Salvador. Officers learned a man was seen entering a black truck that left Salvador heading southbound on Highway #31. Officers later received a report of a stolen vehicle matching the description of the truck.
A traffic stop was attempted near Salvador and initiated a traffic stop; however, the truck fled from police. Shortly after the vehicle was found abandoned near Denzil.
That very same day, RCMP received a separate report of a stolen grey truck in the Denzil area. Officers found it in the Town of Unity, empty.
