Residents on Saskatoon’s east side are in store for five weeks of lower water pressure.
The change will be noticable starting Monday when City crews perform an infrastructure upgrade to the Acadia Drive primary water main.
Although pressure may be low, the City says water service will stay safe and reliable throughout the work. The construction project will also mean noise, dust and vibration in the area of the Acadia Drive and Taylor Street intersection.
The neighborhoods to face the lowest water pressure are Brevoort Park, College Park, Wildwood and Lakeview, where water pressure may be 40 per cent lower than normal. In Rosewood, Lakewood Suburban Centre, Briarwood, Greystone Heights, Eastview and College Park East, pressure may drop to 30 per cent lower than usual.
