Max McNown is a singer-songwriter from Oregon who gained a viral following through social media before releasing his debut album Wandering in 2024, and sophomore album Night Diving in 2025. We featured his single “Better Me For You” on Ride It Or Buck It back in August to an 82% “Ride It” result.

He has a SOLD OUT show at Coors Event Centre this Saturday (in fact, his entire Canadian Tour is now sold out!), and he took the time to call the show. We chat about his humble beginnings busking in Southern California, honest anxieties and self-doubt still felt on-stage, and critical tips for up-and-comers wanting to make a name for themselves.
