Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes have arrested to men in relation to a 2023 homicide that happened in Meadow Lake.

31-year-old Creeson Merasty and 39-year-old Gerald Sinclair were each charged with second degree murder.

The arrest was made by investigators who travelled to an Alberta correctional centre.

The investigation started on July 18th, 2023 after Meadow Lake RCMP were called to a Meadow Lake business following a report of a shooting. 23-year-old Kenneth Fiddler was injured in the shooting and later died in the hospital.

The men remain incarcerated and a court date has yet to be determined.
