The Saskatchewan Roughriders are on track for this Saturday’s crowd at Mosaic Stadium (pictured) to match the attendance from the last time the Green and White hosted the C-F-L West final.
The Riders announced Tuesday morning that they have hit the 30,000 mark in ticket sales for the contest against B-C. Since then, sales continue to move briskly with almost 30,500 being snatched up, leaving just over 2,800 more to go to equal the 33,300 that were on hand in 2019 to see Winnipeg upset Saskatchewan 20-13 in the West final. The Roughriders hosted the West semi-final last season but had only 26,125 fans in attendance for their 28-19 win over the Lions, a figure the Green and White blamed on having a relatively short period of time to sell tickets.
