The Battlefords RCMP are now asking the public for some information to help move their investigation along. It dates back to the end of summer and involves an injured male in a motel parking lot on Highway 16 near North Battleford.
Around 9:45 p.m. August 31st, RCMP received the injured person call and say a man was taken to hospital with serious injuries. Officers made patrols of the area but never located suspects.
The RCMP is sharing details of the victim in hopes of sparking a memory from someone in the area at the time. They say the man who was injured was wearing a black T-shirt and a denim vest, blue jeans and cowboy boots at the time of the assault.
Anyone who has information about the incident on August 31st or who remembers seeing suspicious activity in the motel parking lot area on Highway 16 in that evening, is asked to contact Battlefords RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
