There are now three people charged in connection to a homicide investigation in Regina.
Police were dispatched to a home in the 1000 block of 12th avenue shortly before 1:00 a.m. on November 1st where a 19-year-old man had been shot. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Sunday morning Regina Police Service advised that 44-year-old Trevor Whitequill is being charged with accessory after the fact of murder and a 17-year-old girl is also being charged with accessory after the fact to murder as well as with knowingly possessing an unauthorized firearm and possessing a firearm contrary to prohibition order.
Sunday evening, Regina Police say a 16-year-old male is charged with Second-Degree Murder, Possession of a Firearm Contrary to Prohibition Order, Fail to Comply With Conditions of an Undertaking.
All three are in Regina Provincial Court Monday.
