Rose Valley/Kelvington RCMP are asking the public for assistance in finding Zhasmin Soltys, a missing 12-year-old girl.

Soltys was reported missing yesterday at 4:15 p.m. after she was last seen on foot in a rural area south of Fosston, Saskatchewan.

She is described as 5 feet tall with brown hair and green eyes and was last seen wearing a pink and red jacket, with white pants and a green toque. She may have a backpack with her.

RCMP Police Dog Services are assisting the detachment in the search of the area, along with community members and local first responders.
