Almost three quarters of a kilogram of fentanyl was seized in a drug trafficking investigation in Saskatoon.
The Saskatoon Police Service says around 4:45 p.m. last Thursday members of the Crime Reduction Team, with the assistance of the Tactical Support Unit, arrested a 21-year-old man in connection to a drug trafficking investigation. This was in the 1100 block of Kolynchuk Link and police say he was in possession of methamphetamine, fentanyl, and paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking.
A search warrant was then executed, and police seized $22,513 CAD, 743.2 grams of fentanyl, 552.9 grams of methamphetamine, 362 grams of cocaine, and 750 mL of gamma-hydroxybutyrate as well as multiple mobile phones.
The 21-year-old is facing several drug and proceeds of crime-related offences.
