Saskatoon Police have arrested a 27-year-old man following an armed robbery on Thursday.
Shortly after 3:00 p.m., police were called to a business in the 1800 block of Broadway Avenue for a report of an armed robbery.
Police were told a man entered the business, threatened a staff member with a knife, and stole cash from the register before running into a nearby business and stealing from there, as well. The suspect fled prior to police arrival.
A police service dog found him in the area of Gladmer Crescent. He was taken into custody and transported to hospital by paramedics for treatment of injuries consistent with a dog bite.
